Why we're writing about contract review

Welcome to the CautiQ blog. This is where we'll write about the work behind ClauseGuard — how we think about legal AI, what we're learning from real contract-review workflows, and the decisions that shape the product.

What you can expect

A few themes we care about:

• Evidence over black boxes. Every finding ClauseGuard surfaces is linked to the clause and the playbook rule behind it. We'll write about why that matters.
• The lawyer stays in control. ClauseGuard assists judgement; it doesn't replace it. We'll be candid about where that line sits.
• Confidentiality by design. How we think about keeping sensitive contract work ring-fenced.

Contract review should amplify legal judgement — not obscure it.
