About Cautiq
ClauseGuard is AI-assisted contract review for legal teams in banking and financial services. It applies your own playbook to agreements, surfaces clause-level risk with source-linked evidence, and keeps a lawyer in control of every decision.
What we do
High-volume, high-stakes contract review rewards consistency and defensibility. ClauseGuard turns your negotiating positions and hard stops into a versioned playbook and applies it across every review, so the same standard is enforced whoever is at the desk. Each finding is linked to the exact contract text and the playbook rule behind it, giving counsel a transparent path from document to decision.
How we think about AI
ClauseGuard assists lawyers; it does not replace them. It surfaces risk for a lawyer to decide—approve, reject or redraft—and it never issues legal advice or a final legal conclusion. Recommendations are explainable and evidence-backed, not a black box, so the people accountable for the outcome stay in control of it.
Built for confidentiality
ClauseGuard is designed to run within your own environment, single-tenant and closed-loop, with matter-level information barriers by design and an append-only audit trail of access and decisions. ClauseGuard does not train on your data; any customer-specific tuning is opt-in only, and one client’s data is never used to serve another.
The company
ClauseGuard and OR64 are built by CautiQ Group. The product platform (ClauseGuard) and the proprietary model layer (OR64) are developed separately from this marketing site. To learn more or request access, email hello@cautiq.com.
